Where has my school gone
That once stood here so proud among the oaks?
That place where I learned to live
And learned that I had not yet met life.
My friends, I knew them here
Consumated every day
We went to hell
And came back again
Rose to heaven
And returned
All inside the red-brick walls
Of my school, my school,
By the creek, among the oaks,
Which is no longer there.
